Kanishka Gupta founded Writer’s Side in 2008 at the age of 25. The agency was added to our list of services in early 2010. Kanishka has been written about in The Business Standard, The Indian Express, The Statesman, Mail Today, Metro Now, DNA Me, HT City, Outlook India, The Sunday Guardian, The Hindu, The Hindu Literary Supplement ( featured in the cover story) Midday, The Asian Age, Outlook Mumbai, Time Out ( All Editions) The Daily Star ( Bangladesh), The Daily Times ( Pakistan) and many other leading papers and journals. He has been on newswire twice- once at the time of his book release, and the second time when he surprised everyone by getting four publishers to make offers on a 15-year old’s manuscript on the basis of three chapters only.

He used to review fiction for the Hindu Literary Supplement. In 2009, he was the youngest author on the longlist of the Man Asian Literary Prize for his novel History Of Hate.
